Denton Swag was started in 2015 with the idea of creating cool products for people who love Denton.

I grew up in Denton, TX and for a while it felt more like a commuter city than a great place to eat, work and play. Students would commute to UNT from other locations and locals would drive to Dallas and surrounding cities for dinner. Back in the early 2000’s there wasn’t much to do on the square late in the evening. There weren’t many places to eat, especially not for college students and young families, and there wasn’t any craft beer. But over time places like Jupiter House Coffee, Beth Maries and eventually West Oak Coffee Bar and LSA Burger opened up and there were a handful of really special little places to hang out in Denton. Now the growth has been exponential and Denton is one of the fastest growing places in the nation and one of the second best places to live!

Hi! I’m Eddie, owner and creator of Denton Swag. I started my career in graphic design by accident. I used to work for Texas Instruments and really enjoyed creating PowerPoint presentations and making posters for events. People told me all the time, “you are so creative!”, but I thought they were just being nice. When I got laid off in 2009 I bought a MacBook Pro, watched a lot of YouTube tutorials, taught myself Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and started designing. Now I own ChemistCreative.com, StatureDesign.com, EddieRenz.com and this little website. I love what I do and I love Denton, TX.

I am currently on the board of Serve Denton, the Fred Moore Day School Nursery and I am in the Leadership Denton class of 2019-2020. I also bank locally with AccessBankTX and try to support local businesses as much as possible. All of our prints are printed at AlphaGraphics in Denton.

Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.
